We are so grateful to be able to report another week of incredible numbers, all thanks to the chefs, restaurateurs, business owners and community caterers who dedicate their resources to turning surplus rescued produce into meals.
Last week, between 3 and 9 August, 30 kitchen hubs served 30 600 meals to 30 beneficiary organisations in the greater Johannesburg area. 12 986 tonnes of produce and other ingredients were rescued to make this possible.
